RWHP vs BHP question...

My T2 just dynoed at 213RWHP. About how much power at the crank is that? Anyone got a dyno chart for a bone stock T2?

If it is a stick shift add about 20%, for a autobox add 25%. These are roughly the percentages lost through the drivetrain. I could be wrong, but these are the numbers the local racers use for their figures.

Well, if you think about it, we have a .5 lower compression ratio than them. That means we can theoretically run more boost than them on identical setups.

Not to mention, having rotors that are not cast, we technically have stronger rotors.

I raced 2 s5 t2s with the identical mods, one had a flywheel, and clutch over me, and I was faster in my S4. This was 2 or 3 years ago. Remember they weigh more

so we have stronger rotors, lower compression ratio, and weigh less.

ok, back to the original question
Using similarity alone, a 13B-REW cranks out 217 RWHP stock (or somewhere damn close to that) and makes 255 crank horsepower. So if I had to guesstimate, I'd put you anywhere from 240 - 250 crank hp. The gearing is basically the same and driveline loss is about the same so I guess I would be pretty close.

Long live the S4

I thought S5 rotors weighed less.
