rust!!! damn!!!

okay i was about to remove the TURBOII decals when i noticed (i cant believe i never saw it before) a rust stain running down from under the black side panel. Then i started looking around the car a little more and noticed some surface rust starting to come through the paint right behind the drivers side rear wheel. This is the first car i've owned that i care enough about to stop this...so if anyone has any tips on removing rust please let me know..i've heard rust is car cancer.

grind it all off - patch it - paint it.........
other than that spray some oil undercoating in there and pray.

seriously though the only way to really make it stop is to fix it properly

i do intend on doing it properly...im just at a loss as to what 'properly' is. So grind it off with a sander or something, patch it with what, bondo? and then just paint it? thats it? how much do you think maaco will charge for doing a paint match for those areas? grand total is under two or three square feet

If you don't know whats best I say bring it to a knowledgeable body shop and let them do it. Its something that if you do wrong will look retarded and cost more in the future to fix if its deep.

If it isn't deep they will do it for cheap.
