Runs rich and has no power. Any ideas?

There are two injectors that have cracked Pintle Caps. Would this cause a my problem. Im thinking that maybe they are leaking and causing it to idle to high. And when i drive it the F/A ratio is off and causing crappy performance. What do you guys think. Is this a posabilaty of a cracked Pintle cap.

the new caps could fix your car but is damn expensive to just throw them on all 4. Maybe just get the cracked ones first.

Well the web site he gave me(above) shows that they are only $2 a peice.

Well guys its been a few years, and Im going to awaken this tread. Because the same problem still hasn’t been fix. Does anybody have any ideas?

Whoa is been two years....... So did you replace the pintal caps on the injectors? I just replace my lower injectors a month ago and i got around 15% of my fuel milage back. I did this on a s4 na FC and i replace the lower injectors with some upper injectors since they are the same for a na fc. Also i have learn that you need to make a tool to get codes out of a s4 fc and that the engine would not go in to close loop unless you are just crusing with the car. This means that your o2 wont do any thing unless you are driving along. You might want to replace the the hose to the boost sensor if you didn't already have. And it might be a good idea to see if you know any one that has a known good airflow meter and booste sensor you can try on your car. Well just to let you know that your car might smell like is running rich but it might be running just normal or even lean. I learn that the hard way back in school. The only way to know if you are running rich or lean is to use a 5 gas analyzer. Now that you took off so much emission stuff the car is going to run a little rich or smells like it runs rich even if it idles and runs well well. Please keep me update on your car!

Check for an leak in your intercooler piping; something after the MAF and turbo but before the engine.
