runs good , then runs like crap, then runs good agian..?

Angry runs good , then runs like crap, then runs good agian..?

alrite i got a problem here i made a previous post on how the car ran like crap ( ie sounded like it was running on one rotor ) well anyways i messed with some stuff.... mainly changed an ignition wire.... well anyways now the car is completely random.... either it will run normal and fine... or itll run like **** and miss like crazy.... any ideas?

check the grounds i guess.. could be one of your injectors not working properly.. if it was something mechanical inside the engine i can't see how it would be this random

Check your AFM connector and clean it with some electronics cleaner, that was my problem when I had these symptoms

well it smells of raw fuel when it runs like ****, so i would assume the pump is still good.... as for the AFM connector ill try that next clean it up the connections really good and give it a go! ill tell ya how it goes.... any more ideas people?

runs good then like crap

your plugs and wires might be bad. My wire burned a hole through itself once and it would miss then be fine then miss forever.

Mine did exactly the same thing. It turned out two things were wrong. Bad AFM, and bad fuel injector(s). I replaced the AFM, and I use a fuel pump cut-off switch to deal with the bad injectors.

If it's flooding after it warms up, then it's your water temp sensor under your alternator. I had that problem, it would run fine then like crap, then fine again and then like crap, put a $20 water temp sensor in it, then it runs fine.

alrite im gonna check the AFM agian the water temp sensor and everything else is fine.... i checked everything 5 times or more ill check on the AFM, i changed the wires and plugs...
