Running without Injector mixing plates?

Just wondering if anyone has completely/permantently removed their secondary injector mixing plates...?

Mine snapped off of the air bleed during my rebuild , but i noticed that the perforations in the plate were pretty dirty and completly clogged, so i don't see what good it could have been doing anyway.

and frankly, i don't really wanna spend 35 bucks for another one.

Has anyone had any success or problems running their motor without them?
Idle problems? Problems at high revs?

i'd be more concerned with primary injector ones because those are used most of the time like during idle.

You talking about the insert just under the injector? I believe BDC removes them when building an engine. He did on a friends NA engine anyway.

Yea, I wouldn't remove them. Buy new ones if you need from mazdatrix.
