Unhappy Running too rich

OK i have a straight pipe, but it usually doesnt bother me, i recently did a tune up and washed the motor, and now the car is running super rich, and the fumes are killing me, how do you lean the car out, or is there a sensor that is bad, i know its running too rich because even on warm ups it throwing out little blue flames...and that not normal lol.

Peace
Buddy

Good man, as far as I know, you cant change the mixture except at idle. The mixture is a function of the various sensors (Thermo-sensor, O2 sensor, etc..) and the injector size. Also, no cats makes your car run rich. I am having the same experience with mine, exept its keeping me from getting through emissions. The field service manual is a good place to look. 4a and 4b depending on if you are turbo or N/A..

Thats the problem I am having....And it could be alot of things...ACV, but that doesnt inject air to the cat till somewhere in the neighborhood of 2-3000 rpm....Thermosensor..(tells the car when to run rich or lean depending on engine temps)...Fuel pressure is another one. Too high = too rich. There are a million different things to check...Oh..There is the TPS too. What I have realized about RX-7s is that the Multimeter and the LED are 2 indespensible tools to have. If Iever figure out what my problem is, I will post it...\
