Running rather rich...

So, I will summarize what is going on.

1)New engine with 4k miles on it
2)New TPS
3)New fuel injectors

I am running rich as hell. I know the NA runs very rich, but man I have black soot in my pipes, thick. I blast flames with a cat still installed.

I checked impedance of the TPS again and AFM, but all check out good, I am just getting too much fuel somehow.

Ideas on what else to check?

Do you know what the fuel pressure is? One thing you could do is remove the hose from the FPR and see if it has vacuum when idling as it should. Is the air filter new/Clean?

Also check the Water thermosensor, Boost/Pressure sensor, Air temp sensor including the one in the AFM.

Water thermo is good, replaced it as well, I may need to check that pressure sensor. Haven't done that.

Cleaned the K@N right after got the engine rebuilt.

change your o2 sensor, it will help...trust me. i was stalling out when engine was in warm up mode because my o2 was sending such a high signal, the injectors were flooding out the engine with too much fuel.

That is what I was going to just do. My exhaust piped have gone from greyish sooty crap to black soot on the inside.
