running on one rotor!!

ok got a big wiring problem out of the way ... we got spark and fuel and compression is good on both rotors but its very sluggish revs up real slow and has no power and perhaps it feels like its running on one rotor!! what else could it be??

thanks

Are you sure all injectors are firing correctly? Check the ECU for codes.

Did you actually pull the codes? Only certain codes will cause the actual CEL to come on. I would start with that. I'm guessing one or more of the injectors has failed or is working intermittently. How does it idle?

Your cats could be clogged, that's my only guess.

If she idles (even at 1000) without your foot on the gas, both rotors are firing...

If you have an 89 like it says in your profile then get a piece of wire and put one end of it into the single green test connector right near the battery and ground the other end. Here is a detailed procedure with what the codes mean. http://1300cc.com/howto/how2/codes.html
