running like carbed

Yesterday I started up my car comming home from work and drove it around then it started running shitty at low rpms like all shacky and exhuast is going boom boom boom like those carbed cars. So I uped the idle to 900 and it still running like **** and I have loss of power too. I have no idea what the heck is wrong with it. It sounded like ignition to me but I took off the wires from the coils and there were strong sparks there, then I replaced the wires and plugs with other used ones that I knew worked and that didnt do anything.

Another thing is that my car has been hard to start for a while now... I dont have cold start so i have to revv it to 3k and keep it there for a while for it not to die. And even at 3k it dies sometimes... then when it warms up its fine... maybe same problem just got worse?

I have no clue whats wrong someone please help me.

First of all, carbed 13b's run very smooth so I don't know where you got that from. How do the spark plugs look? You might have to see if the ecu has any error codes and then a compression check. The possibilities are many so you got to narrow it down a bit.

I wasnt refering to how 13Bs run with carbs, i was talking about those old POS piston cars.....

today I found out why it was running shitty, i checked my compression... first did rear rotor and was amazed at the results... 98 98 98, i was like wow compression is very good, then did front rotor and wasnt too happy, it read 20 20 50..

So there is my problem and I cant believe my car even idles is able to drive around. Must be from the strong compression in the rear rotor.. well anyways time for a rebuild. I'll be visiting atkins down the street.
