Ok if I were to put a TII tranny into an 88 GXL what drive shaft do I need? we have a TII drive shaft and an auto drive shaft. would either of these work? the GXL has an LSD btw. the TII tranny is from an 89 TII. Help me out guys.

oh the LSD is from the 88 N/a

 

u need driveshaft from TII and TII diff or modify diff to driveshaft flange to take TII driveshaft....

SonicRat used the A/T drive shaft..I guess only about half of the yoke was in the trans though...but it worked. The only way I know of to use the TII trans with the n/a rear end is a custom driveshaft application...
