running lean?

running lean?

aside from the hesitation I got at the 3800 rpm thing i used the RPM activated switch up for the 5th and 6th ports and it didnt feels like a grounding issue.

but the guy before me had installed some wierd AF gauge thing that never really works all the time and I saw it go off today and it seem to always be lean or pegging off the lean but my temp hasnt gone up, the car does have a walbro in it, is it possibl e the gauge was installed opposite or is it lean?

Bad O2 sensor hooked up to the AF meter probably. Or could just be a bad connection to the aftermarket indicator. Wouldn't trust those things anyway.

those things are rubbish anyways, don't go by them


an exhaust temp guage is probbaly a better indication of whether it's running lean or not

just adjust the ajustor under the hood to richer. I'd rather have my car run little rich then lean anyways. BTW that how my ports are run by RPM switch and airpump.

I got a pyrometer and I think it was a new o2 sensor or it looks newish.

what should the EGT roughly for low be spirited daily driving?

Most AF gauges are **** but not all. Find the company that made yours and ask for directions and make sure it is hooked up properly.

its some cheap piece of crap thing the guy put together from some ebay stuff, i never really watched it since I never saw it working till like last night lol.
