heres some updates to blow your mind
so we gt it to start up sort-of i held the key turned in the ignition position and the car was basicly running but if i stopped it died, also while in this position if i tapped the gas the RPM,s would drop drastically and then eventually died. also my frined was by the afm and he said he could feel air push back out the afm after so many turns.

and while we were trying to find any problems we found that the ecu had never been swapped out from n351 but the car should still start on the na, the only other ecu i have i cant tell the numbers on due to the fact that the sticker has fallen off looks to be n374 if the light catches it just right.

Hi all, I'm one of the many friends helping on this build and since hes at school atm Ill try to answer some questions to hopefully get some answers to see this **** run.

It's a JDM motor, did not run in the car before, and yes the cas is correct.

Just for the records, I was reading through his haynes manual in the fuel section and came to a part about testing the fuel pump. Said you do the jumper trick and if the fuel pump cuts on for a few seconds and back off after pressure is built its good; But if it stays running constantly somethings leaking causing it not to build pressure. When we did that the fuel pump would run constantly and while it was running we were looking for gas leaks but nothing, what we did hear is what sounded like the injectors spraying into the intake mani.

Forgive me for I have very little knowledge of rotaries, only what ive been learning from this build and working on it so I'm trying to learn cause I love em, just dont have one. So everything maybe fine, but per the haynes manual it doesnt say so.

Thanks guys

when you jump the fuel pump connector, it will keep on pumping gas, it wont shut off. That sound you hear is probably fuel traveling through the fuel rail.

If this is a JDM do you have the fuel supply and return hooked up correctly?
