Running incredibly rich to where your eyes burn

1988 vert.

Stock except a magnaflow exhaust

Right now it runs so rich you will almost cry

I hear also a sort of little "fart" every now and then while idling.

Any ideas? Leaky fuel injectors? Bad sensors?

i would check that the ACV is working, see if there is anything in the cat, and then you're looking at making sure the TPS/idle mixture isn't way off

I had the same problem, it was a stuck injector.
