Runnin a lil rich...

I just finially finished my rebuild project from over the winter. its a 87 s4 with nothing special port wise. i removed all the acc. from the car because its going to be mostly a track car. I fired it for the first time the other day and i have a problem. it starts fine but it runs rich, meaning it will not idle smoothly. it sounds like it is in limp mode but i ran a check engine test and it threw no codes.

If u have any ideas or insight let me know thank you.
