Rubber plug on tranny

I noticed tonight that the rubber plug on the bottom of the front of my tranny is missing. I'm guessing it's just to keep out dirt, but I can't find it in the parts manuals.
Any ideas for a replacement?

It's an inspection plug. If you are worried, clean the area with brake cleaner and cover it with a piece of aluminum tape.

But..I'd really like to keep the 'stock look'!

Kidding, thanks, I'll do that tomorrow.

Go to True value, or another good hardware store with the dimensions of the hole. You can find a rubber plug if you look hard enough.

I was going to say duct tape, but the aluminum tape will take the heat better.
