i just bought the tokico hp blue shocks for my car about 2 months ago. they are an awsome upgrade. the ride is stiff enough to improve cornering yet soft enough to effect the ride quality. i combined them with the racing beat springs and i am extremely pleased with the results.

I also have a set of KYB AGXs. FYI, Summit Racing will price match. Even from internet prices.

I would recommend the full Racing Beat suspension with Tokico HP's. I don't have experience with this on my RX-7, but it is what makes my MSP handle like whoa. The HP's hold up great.

If you want adjustable, I would save up the money for Tokico Illumina's or Koni Sports. The price on the AGX's seems good, but I know of 3 different people who have had bad AGX struts locally. Not a lot, but enough that it makes me leary of them.

tokico illumina's Rock!! Had them on mine for the last 8 years. Rears are a little bit of a pain to adjust if you intend to keep the stock rear speakers/ amp. But I feel the road so much better without the ride harshness but be nicely stiff for the curves and corners. Setting goes from slightly stiffer than stock to downright brutal. Full on is way overkill. Never ever had any reason to go that route. Rattled tooth fillings when you hit a pothole.

What shocks will be good for you is a question of intended use. Pretty much any non-adjustable shock will be plenty for the RB springs or most other lowering springs. For performance shocks, the Konis are best, the KYB AGX's are the best value for money and the Illuminas are pretty good, but I'd go for the AGX's or Konis preferentially. Unless you're planning on going racing, track driving, or are planning on getting really stiff springs then non-adjustable shocks are probably best for you. Most people with adjustables don't really know what they're doing when they adjust them and they'll probably be set wrong for best performance, and most won't ever adjust them anyway, rendering the adjustability a useless feature.
