Rough start idle and gas smell

Ok guys when I start my car cold it idle's around 1500-1800 for about 15-20 mins then will go down to 750rpm idle after fully warmed up. But if when I initially start the car if I rev it a little, I get a bit of a rough rev not a smooth one.

Issue 2 I can smell gas inside the car when maybe 60% of the time. I have looked under the hood found no leaks. I checked the connections to the gas tank from the fuel pump no leaks. I checked the fuel lines which are brand new and no leaks. Now I have always known that 7's tend to run rich anyway but this is over that any idea's?

Also I should say that the warmer the temperature the better the idle is.

Well my idle screw on the intake needed ajusting. Its just been way to cold to adjust anything latley. The gas/exhaust smell I would call it was coming in threw a hole in my left rear wheel well where the jack is stored. On top of that I have a few good exhaust leaks.
