Rough idling on a 1987 FC NA rebuilt 13b stock
Hey guys I need some help!
So I started up my FC (after boosting it) and it was fine, idled nicely and everything seem to be fine. I went to back it up and stalled it. Then wouldn’t turn over so I switched out the battery cause mine was flat. Did that then when I turned it over again the RPM’s barely hit 300-500 RPM, some smoke was coming out of the bay and a lot of blue smoke out of the exhaust. Just so you know I ran this car about two weeks ago and it was running beautiful. It’s a rebuilt 13b with about 20,000 kms on it. Omps on it as well but I was starting to put some premix in this year.
I changed all spark plugs last weekend and it’s running better but still a rough idle (700-900 RPM) idk if I was dumb from last year and trusted the OMP’s. I was gonna start adding premix in this year but now I’m worried I blew it with the apex seal. But I think it might be the fuel injector or maybe throttle body.
If anyone has an idea of what is happening that would be greatly appreciated!

When you say you boosted it, exactly what did you do to achieve that? TII parts, custom manifold and turbo, etc? And did you install a standalone computer that would let you tune it for boost? Did you upgrade injectors to handle the added airflow?
If you could provide details on that, it would be helpful.
Assuming it's not engine internal related, most idle problems on our cars are down vacuum leaks. Or bad grounds on the stock ECU which shouldn't apply to you if you've boosted the car.
