Question Rough idle

Ive had my 87 TII for almost two weeks and it hasnt given me any real problems.

Tonight when I was on my way home from work, the car drove normally. I let it sit like always before turning it off to let it cool down.

About an hour later I go back outside, turn it on and back it up about 10ft to take some night pics of it.
While im sitting in the car getting ready to take a pic of the gauges the car starts to idle funny.

The idle was jumpring from 200-500 rpms and it felt like the car was going to die (But it did not). At the same time the oil pressure gauge was jumping from 30-55ish.

Anyone have any possibilities?

I'm tempted to say it's "normal"...does the idle correct itself after you hit the throttle a time or two? the BAC might be acting up...

No i hit the throttle a few times, it would idle normal for a seccond and dip back down to 200-500rpms.

I also held the rpms around 1000 for 30 secconds or so and that didnt do anything either.

this is with the engine hot, right? with no abnormal electrical loads? have you attempted to adjust idle per FSM?
