rotor size

What size rotors should I upgrade to? measurements in MM please. Thinking of upgrading brake system. Im runnin 17" rims.

if you have a GXL; you already have biggest rotors that will fit the stock calipers...

which are more than adaquate for even most true racing applications.

You can't just expect to get bigger rotors and have them fit.
You either have to shim the stock calipers (I've never heard of a kit that does this) or get a big brake kit which includes another set of brake calipers with custom mounts.
We're talking $1,000+ for entry-level kits!

Yeah, but lets face it, bigger brakes on a FC that already has the 4 piston fronts, is a ricer mod.

There is no reason for a brake upgrade in 99% of the applications used as street driven vehicles. The stock brakes are already oversized for the application.

If you want better braking, then upgrade the pads and the tires long before upgrading the rotors and calipers.

And you could put on 13 in rotors with 6 piston calipers, and not gain even one inch less stopping if you don't have premium performance tires already.
