are the rotors in the rx-8 lighter than the ones in my s5? if so would they be swappable? any performance gains? other than rotors any other parts swappable from the rx-8 that would be swappable with my s5 for performance gains? thanks

Yes, the rotors are lighter. I don't remember the exact weights. They are also higher compression.
They are swappable, but with effort. The Renesis engine uses three oil seals and a keystone side seal.
If you search for "renesis rotors", you will get the details. Other then that, there's really nothing else that can be swapped over.
