Rotor Housing tempatures high?
Rotor Housing tempatures high?
i wanna know if the top of the rotor housings near intake stroke are hit? reason im asking is cuz i wanna bolt down one of my SS fuel line to the rotor housing to keep it from touching the alternator (and shorting with the power from Alt +).
I just wanna make sure the heat from the housing wont warm up fuel inside lines too much. any info?

You only have to keep the fuel line from contacting the lines carrying any positive voltage on the alternator. While it doesn't hurt to be safe, it could touch the alternator body and be fine.
Also, I have my fuel lines (standard rubber fuel line) running across the top of the housings and they have shown no signs of damage from the heat.

I would find a good way to cover the post on the alt, too. Unfortunately for my car my insulator boot recently tore off, it had been dangling for a while. I don't want to wrap it though because I've had to move the alternator so often as of late...
