RB Exhaust component question
well i think its time to redo my exhaust and i want to use the RB system. i have already eliminated my cats so i know im going to have to put a replacement pipe in.
my question is would it be better to get the header/collector or the downpipe/prescilencer in addition the rest of the exhaust? the header is about 100 bucks cheaper and if that would work just fine id like to save the cash.
thanks.

I think you are confusing the NA header with the turbo down pipe - they are for different engines. You can't use both on the same type of engine. You can use a collected or dual outlet header with or without a back-pressure pipe. You can use a down pipe with or without a presilencer. You can use a presilencer with any of the headers, but the presilencers are different. Get a collected header and presilencer & you will still need to fabricate an adaptor pipe for the cat-back. You could just get a collected header with no presilencer and make a pipe to connect to your existing y-pipe but it will be really loud.
