Rotor Damage

I had these rotors in storage, and I planned on putting them in my rebuild because my old ones were toast. However, they seem to have been dropped or something at one point because the edges of the slot where the apex seal goes got slightly crushed together. Right at the corner. I pried it apart but the corner is crushed like a bevel shape. These pics are shitty resolution, but the bright spot at the corner is the bevel reflecting light. Can they be saved?

Put some seals in and use feeler gauges. I would not use them but maybe in a low HP application and a file they may work.

If you wanted to put bigger seals in and have them milled out it would take away a lot of that dented spot. But then again you wouldn't put bigger seals in a low HP application.

Thanks for the posts. This is for a stock S4 N/A. It's a budget rebuild for my daily driver. I don't plan on having this motor in there for more than a year.
