Check out how I pressed it in. The tooth thing is off a tiny bit, and im not sure if its really important or not. Other than that its pressed in fine. Here is a picture

nah its not sticking out any at all. That tab part is actually a lot lower than the rest of the bearing. My boss said that if I press that bearing out and repress it back in that the bearing will be ruined because the way its made to shrink when its pressed in. He also said that it went in so hard that there is no way it would ever spin. Hes not a rotary mechanic so thats why I'm asking you guys...
I don't think that is what his mechanic told him?
did he tell you it was seated ok, or did he tell you that you could not take it out and put it back in again? if so Then he is right if you seated it wrong then you will have to get another!
Good Luck

haha you guys are funny. Actually I'm a mechanic and my boss is the one that pressed them in for me. He wanted to do it because he does a lot of trannies and thats the kind of bearings they use. The bearing is seated good, except for that little tab thing, so thats why I was asking if its fine for the tab to be like that. Other than that its in there like its supposed to be.
