Good point.

It is worth it if you do it right. Did you figure out what you did wrong?

I didn't do anything wrong. after my first rebuild something in the center iron broke and coolant got into the combustion chamber, don't ask me what I can't remember. The result was I needed a new center iron and another rebuild. Then I had kevin rebuild it for me and my rear iron cracks... honestly its just a gamble i'm not willing to take anymore. Maybe I just have shitty luck but that's what happened to me. You can make of it what you will, and plenty of people reuse irons and housings with good results, but those people are just not me.

I only dealt with keivn by email. I was going to have him rebuild my N/A engine be I went JDM turbo instead. He was willing to answer my questions and was pleasant to deal with.
