Feeler: What is an AE worth these days?
I have an Anniversary Edition with less than 95k original miles I am the second Owner. The Original owner which was Female Owned it for 23 years before I bought it. It's been repainted in the last year I installed the hard to find Mazdaspeed MS-01 Wheels 17x9 & 17x8 35mm offset perfect offset for the fc wrapped in Michelin PS2's 255/40's and 235/45's. I also found the hard to find a Full Rev 1 Racing Beat Exhaust with 3" Downpipe and Mid pipe... A Racing Beat FCD and filter, I got the AC working needed a new pump and charging replaced all seals, replaced the power steering pump and the turbo gaskets because they were leaking. The Interior is imaculate seats have been redone over1k right there factory mats no broken plastics.
The car has original Bronze glass, Original numbered Keys, transmission heat shield, all original documentaion, working oem radio and all working switches. The motor runs great and doesn't smoke very reliable and dependable. The car has a S4 lip, hard to find aerial rubber guards, folder mirrors and stock s4's, stock wheels with tires, AE Steering wheel in great condition, no broken vents, Mazdatrix short shifter and all new shifter boots, new turbo gaskets, as far as suspension the car is all stock and handles great.
Clean title no accidents and no rust California Car allways garaged kept the car is dry no leaks I was thinking of asking 8k I figures I have about 9k into it and of course you never get your money out of it. Please any comments would help me figure out an asking price. I might a missed a few things, I just went out on a limb since I'm thinking of buying another car.
Here is a picture that was shot couple months ago before a couple other thing were installed.

I have the Original Wheels and the only thing that was changed was the Exhaust, the suspension, mirrors and interior are stock. the lip and rubber stone guards bolts in.
I was not planning on selling it, but now I have my heart set on a 4th Gen tt 6 speed supra...

Here is a 1990 Turbo II that I've been working on 80k Original Miles...
I have to shuffle a few cars to buy the Supra...
These pictures were taken before it was color sanded and interior back in for some reason the wheels look chrome in center when they are more graphite grey color...

And this is one reason they don't sell for much these days: the community itself has decided to depreciate the value. Even if the car was worth 6K these guys would say 2K at the most. lol. rx7owners are the worst critics, yes it helps to buy a cheap car but it hurts when you try to sell.
I'd say put it up for what you want for it, wait till you find a buyer that appreciate the car and doesn't nit pick every single modification or fault. You have a nice car there, other nice cars a t home, don't rush and sell it for 4K or else one of these guys is going to snag it and then brag about the great deal they got on a AE.
It's worth whatever the person will pay for it, find the right buyer.

if you painted the mouldings and tail lights back to black it would look better. if you were in nz you would get about 9k depending on mods. funny because the more engine work you had done and with the wheels you would get more money than a stock example which go for about 7k. but we like our hardcore rotors

@ NJGreenBudd I hear you I feel the same way, I will sell it when the right person buys it ha-ha I know what I have into it and what's it worth as the same time, in the meantime all I can do is sit back and watch or drive it..
@ ben.farnath CorkSport Type CS for 86-88 rx7 or S4, if you want something different you buy an AE

i dont hate it and i get the reasoning behind owning one as they are one of the rarer fcs. i would hold onto it and see if mazda carries on the rotary project as its a bit up in the air at the moment due to meeting emissions standards and being economically viable etc. if they dont carry on the the rotary our cars values will sky rocket.

i agree, it looks nice, but a collector, or someone who is going to pay top dollar wants an ORIGINAL car. actually your S5 is worth more. a clean low mile white S5 T2 can bring 8-10K.
