Rotary removal
Ok so I've been searching & searching on the best way to pull a motor. I've googled it, I've searched it, I've even searched how to search better using this sites search lol. Please give any advice & even better links to a thread, archive or method somewhere on the internet to achieve this, thank you.

Just unplug the ECU. feed the wires through the firewall. pull radiator, fan, disconnect hoses, disconnect driveshaft, unbolt trans mount and engine mounts,downpipe/ exhaust. pull motor out. Thats basically it. I can have mine out in about an hour by myself.

It is simple.
No offense but the poster has to stop posting and get dirty.
The INFO is on the forum, and has been handed to him,so do not make it so easy that someone actually goes over there and does it for him!.
Search does work, and it may take a couple minutes to get to the Exact thread but Really,An Engine removal is done Every DAY somewhere on these cars,so It is not like it is a Rare Modification.
NO Genie is gonna pop out of the computer and magically change the engine...Unless you got the New Iphone!

Well, I had never had an engine out before I did it. And I didn't even think before I started. 5000 miles and counting since rebuild.
Take some white masking tape and a black pen, write what is what or what goes where, whatever is easiest, unplug everything, get under the car, take the bolts off the tranny, take the two engine mounts, hook the engine up to a lift, and.. lift.
Shouldn't be more than a couple of hours even for the first time, not even as a non gearhead.

The best advice given to me for pulling me engine
1: Pull the engine and trans at the same time, it will come out without even having to remove the radiator
2: Dont pull the intake, just pull the plug that connects to the ecu
You can do it just take your time and really look at what your doing, good luck

One more thing. Label everything before you unplug anything. Trust me I didn't do that after pulling the motor a few times cause I knew where everything went. I learned the hard way.
