Rotary Help

My bud needs help, here is his question:

The is a 1988 RX-7 for sale localy for a desant amout of cash and since I've always had a thing for the second and thrid gen sevens dispite my obbsetion with Nissan. So I figured a second gen would be a good intro into the great rotay heart of the 7's now my question. This 7 will run and drive but when sitting will idel and then die. The seller told me he replaced thetrailing coil and the TPS but the problem continued and he has a new project taking proritys. So if someone can tell me how hard a fix this could be that would be great.

Vacuum leaks, BAC valve. Search for "idle stalling", "won't idle" and variations on that theme.
