rotary engine

Need some help...Im looking to purchase an rx-7...What is the average engine life for these rotary engines?? The current engine is a pettit racing engine with 18000 miles on it...

TIIs usually go till about 120,000. N/As can see mileage over 200,000 easy.

then you are in the wrong section.. This is the 2nd gen, 86-91.
