Is your car turbo? If yes, the problem is your check valve. It's letting boost into the booster which then doesn't exactly help you brake, untill the vacuum takes over and you get the ormal assistance.

If the car isn't turbo, I'm stumped. Possibly a similar thing becuase there's much less vacuum under load which would still take a second or two to take effect after lifting off the gas.

yeah my guess would be to start with the brake booster as well. if you dont have a turbo then it could still be a leaky something somewhere with the booster.

did you re-surface the rotors when you did the brake pads, and then did you properlly bed the pads by driving softly and easy for the first 100 miles??

If not you probably glazed the pads. Throw them away and get a new set, and re-surface the rotors.

Okay, ill just go ahead and change out the pads, but just for reference, nobody thinks the lines will help the problem? Also, please let me know what u guys think, should i go with ebc pads or hawks??? And, no, i did not resurface the rotors, but i am looking into new ones since they are pretty old, figured i would put slotted n drilled on, any advice or suggestions???
