"room" fuse keeps poping?

Just yesterday mine blew and tripped the stereo, and all the interior lights.

i tried a 10 and it blew instantly, then even a 20 just to see what would happen, it poped too.

I must have a short somewere but is there any known places i shoudl check first?

i know fcs have there share of wiring problems so if anyone has had a similar experience please post!

thanks

I had a similar problem in an fc I owned a little while ago. Could never find the short. I ended making my own wiring for the radio to the fusebox and the episodes quit.

yep my 86 used to blow them like penny candy, the headlight switch/ and or wiring harness shorted all the time, also it would be a good idea to what was posted early, put the stereo in a seperate loop or just buy stock in a fuse company
