Auto Power makes some that bolt in. Corksport has those also.

They have a roll bar and a full cage also.

I think they are 400~ for the roll bar and 800~ for the full cage.

Those aren't cages those are conversation piece's for ricer's!

A real cage is something that goes from the front strut towers all the way to the back strut towers, and everyplace inbetween. You know something that you would have to buy a bender, and what not to make it with.

You need to get a copy of whatever Sanctioning Body you are racing under. Read and understand them BEFORE you buy or Build a Cage.

BTW, Just having access to a bender and a under-powered welder for the job, and bending up some Exhaust tubing does not make a Rollcage, IT creates an UNSAFE condition.

Even worse, having a non-conforming cage is going to get you banned from some events that you could have run if you did not have ANY cage.

Chromemoly is not a magic material, Unless it is PROPERLY welded and Stress relieved it is actually weaker than Mild Steel.

I bought a roll bar from these guys.

http://www.aerodyne.net/

Click on the Original Parts link. It is really well made. I had mine powdercoated for 55 bucks locally. It comes painted black but it's a thin paint and will scratch easy. The tubes and bolt tabs are thick.

So my 6pt. welded cage with dual door bars is rice because SCCA ITS Club Racing rules do not permit going through the firewall to the strut towers?

Yep, guess my Autopower, SCCA Approved cage is just RICE, according to the ALL-KNOWING Mr. Simpson. Wonder what other PEarls of Wisdom will come forth from "little Mr. know-it all"?

I have a 4 point cage. Its adequate for my Solo II excursions. Provides the proper mounting points for my harness (which I don't wear on the street)

Cory, you should not be the one to talk.

Just for the record the only person to declare what is rice and what is not is RarestRX.

Anyone ever check the amount of weight that is added to the car after the cage?
