roll bar/cage

i know about the autopower roll bar setup, but is there anyone else that makes roll bars for our cars? The autopower one is only a 4 point, if im going to put a cage/bar in my car, it want to have the side bars that go forward, at least a 6 point system.

kirk racing at www.kirkracing.com . They race fc's and their cage is a great fit. They are a little pricey, but the quality is quite good.

ABSOLUTELY nothing beats one getting custom made for your car. It may be a little more expensive but will definately fit better and look better.

i dont know if i got that kind of money to spend. I think i could get that autopower one and add my own side bars. Do you have a pic of where your sidebars are connecting, 1FastT2?

yea. they mostly do american cars. i guess imports are a new thing to them. My freind got a cage from them for his mustang. Build qualty seems ok, not plug a play though (most cages arnt from what i hear). Needed trimming to fit right in the car. The price is hard to beat though, I cant remember what it was but my friend said shipping cost about as much as the cage!

il post here when they reply.

ok, this is what S&W said.

"We make roll bars for the 86-91 RX-7 and the 93-96 RX-7 Our standard roll bars are made from EWS tubing and are $149.95 This tubing is accepted by all drag race sactioning bodies. If you need DOM tubing to meet a SCCA rule we can make it in DOM for $349.90 but most SCCA classes require a full cage not just the pieces you discribe."
