At risk of looking stupid ??

Folks, I just got a set of Mazda stock NGK plug wires. After market set on board now. Well, the four are color and number coded. Two short with Blue igniter boots coded 1 & 2 and two long with Black igniter boots coded 1 & 2.

Logic tells me that I marry the 1's together and the 2's together. If so which goes to the leading and which to the trailing? Stupid question.. huh?

Top- Trailing
Low - Leading

the blue plugs are your trailing and the black are leading

quite simple, blue 1 = trailing #1, blue 2 = trailing #2, black #1 = leading #1, black #2 = leading #2 (1 being front rotor 2 being rear rotor)
