Rim and tire specification fitment questions

I'm looking to get an FC and because of this really don't know what will fit. I'm looking to buy 18 x 7.5 ADR Sokudo rims with a +42 offset, and am looking for a tire size of 225 35. Will this size fit? or maybe even go up to a more common size of 245 40. I know it is more than likely pushing it, but if anyone has expirence with tires this wide. I'd like to know, keep in mind a 225 35 will be the exact diameter of stock.

Those should fit, however on a 7.5 don't go wider than a 235-45 w/ +40 offset

It's a +42 offset, will i have issues of it rubbing the springs?

You should be fine...The front has me guessing though...I've had +40, +38 & now +35 and they don't have problems, however I had 17 x 8's and now 17 x 9's up front so my guess is yes, you'll be fine....

If you visit the discount tire site they list all the offset with each wheel and you'll beable to see if those fitments will work....ya know what I mean?

I did not know about discount tire's site, i think a post like this should be made a sticky. I realize questions like this pop-up alot, but really hard to search for fitment specifications because they're under 3 charactors.

ADR rims are not one of the lighter rims out there.
The 17 inch rims weigh in at about 20 lbs. If you're going for looks only, it will be OK.

I know they're heavy, but not quite as bad as Motegi. I had ADR rims on my GSL-SE.

Rims are too deep.&nbsp The tire will hit the inside suspension.&nbsp You need to run like a +35 or smaller offset to run those rim widths and tires.
