Red face Rim Help

I have an 87 Base model RX-7. For this year the base modle was a 4 bolt pattern while every other modles have a 5 bolt pattern. It is some what hard to find the rims i want in the 4 bolt pattern, and seeing as i dont know alot about the RX-7's in general. I want to know if anyone could tell me how to change it to the 5 bolt pattern. Thanx

Ah, I haven't had a problem whatsoever looking for them. Usually they have many times of bolt patterns, but the 5-lug adds larger brake diameter and a better overall braking system.

Its up to you, it'll cost around $200 to upgrade (if everything is in good shape).

Would it just be a matter of swaping the rotors or is there an adapter

no.

the brake rotors sit on your studs just like your wheel. you will need to buy a 5 lug rotors to replace your 4 lug rotors if you go 5 lug.

i suggest you go download a FSM and go look at how your suspension is put together.

they do make 4 to 5 lug adapters, but alot of people consider them to be unsafe; including me. i wouldn't use them, especially if you do any sort of performance driving.
