rigid mounts

ok all heres the sich ..... i need to replace my tranny mount ... and i figured ill do my engine mounts while im at it .. now i have an opprotunity to buy rigid mounts all the way around ... i was wondering .... if i could only use rigid for the tranny ... cuz i dont want to have to much vibration in my front end .. prolly drive me nuts ... but my point is .. will it cause unde stress on any of my drive train if i use say a oe engine mount and a rigid aluminium trany mount ... any feed back would be great thnx

Don't do it. The twisting forces that will go through the assembly will screw something up, I don't have specifics on what or how many things. You will get the vibes with only one solid mount so you can't have it both ways. One of the things with the rotary is it can't take twisting loads, you can't use it as a structural part of a race car (prototype cars) like a piston engine. They require lots of extra bracing to the rear suspension. In your case I would bet shifting forks would jamb up first considering where the tranny mount is and where they are inside the case.
