Right hand drive is pretty baller, just because when you cruise up to someone at a red light your in the left hes in the right, there expecting to see you on the far side right. So you pull up on the close side and you can pretty much shake there hand.
On the other side of things i would never get a right hand i dont think, because you have to shift with your left hand.

I like how everyone hates RHD who has never tried it before...and everyone that has owned a RHD car loves it.
Hmmmm I wonder why?
Just because you cant get a RHD car doesn't mean you have to hate on everyone who does have or has had one.

I don't hate them, they are cool and all. But I don't care either way. Like it was said earlier, it's just a shock factor. It's the same car. Woohoo. Instead of spending so much on a "JDM" imported in, I would buy a regular LHD and use all the money I saved to make it faster and better. Just my opinion.

apexFD has a point. yeah you will catch a lot from even mentioning RHD on any forums b/c the jdm fad but in some, very rare cases, you can get a j-spec FC in the states cheaper than some of the ones already here. i dont know how the market for them is in canada tho... but i would choose importing one for around 5-6k dollars over the market here for them. high mileage'd, already mostly modified, interior's are crap, etc. there are some nice ones that pop up but i and some friends are blessed w/ living a stones throw from a local importer. lol.

I happen to own a RHD 1991 Savanna GTX and i am also canadian. Its all about the person. A lot of 'kids' that want to buy JDM cars are former civic owners or are wiggers that want the fastest car for their money... So the fact he is canadian or wants a RHD car does not foreshadow his personality, but the fact his post is constucted like a 10 year old does say something about his personality.

The RHD thing is becoming much more popular as here in quebec we can plate a car from europe or japan if it is at least 15 years, old. I understand people importing silly right hand drive Pulsar GTI-Rs and other nonsesaries we cant get here in canada, like skylines. Personally a lot of silly kids are now driving around in RHD FCs and it kinda is a bit lame as the rareness is fading. However its becoming pretty common and were getting to see some cool cars.
PS. In japan i believe the law is you must sell your vehicle or replace the engine at 70,000 km, this is another reason they are sought after. Much lower milage than in north america on the cars generally
