Right Hand Drive Car and exhaust question

I have an 89 turbo RX7 comin from japan. I have the racing beat turbo back exhaust sitting up in my room awaiting the cars arrival. In another thread someone mentioned that the steering linkage on a right hand drive car interferes with exhaust modifications...does anyone know for sure if that's correct or not? please let me know.

its definitely a possiblity...i dont know for sure though. You'll just have to wait and see when you get the car.

I've got an 86 TII RHD with a 3" pipe off the back of the turbo, and there's way bigger turbo/exhaust setups in oz, I'd be suprised if you ran into trouble.

well, being that I live in canada I don't have to do anything to the cars once they are 15 years old to the build month(as in I don't have to federalize them). same rules apply to australia...it cost less including shipping and taxes than buying a comparable car(except LHD) here in canada by quite a bit...
