Hi! my 87 N/A developed recently a problem.

When my car is warming up revs bouncing up&down when I press clutch then it idles normal. Also when driving (already with a warm engine) when I lift off the gas then the engine brakes so heavily that it feels like i hit the brakes.

Adjust your throttle position sensor. Also check it for correct function ala the FSM.

 

Been there done that. Did not helped.

 

are you getting noise from your pilot or throw out bearing?

my '90 GTU does the same thing, i have adjusted the idle, got new spark plugs, and doubled checked the vacume hoses, what should i do next?? why is my baby doing this??

 

i believe my pilot bearing is making sounds..it squeeks at low rpms when engaging the clutch
