well...the most obvious u should look for is....is there a turbo under the hood......then u should see if the coolant and oil is still intact..meaning no coolant in the oil, no oil in the coolant....then hook up a fresh battery and try to start it up....basically apply all the rules from the NA....

If it hasn't been started in a few years then you really should not try yo start it without first squirting some lubricant (ATF, MMO, 2 cycle oil, etc) in the engine. You can do a lot of damage, if an apex seal is carboned in place. It will also have really bad gas in the tank which may not even ignite. You really should change the oil, drain the fuel tank, change the fuel filter and spark plugs, and hope the injectors are not gummed up before attempting to starting it.

If it is a TII that is a great price, especially considering the mileage. If I were you I would buy it, tow it home and start working on it.

thanks for the info, im not sure how im gonna get it towed back hopefully i can find a way, yea i figured 600 bucks PLUS its low mileage the guy said the hood will need to get replaced i guess, so im not sure how bad it is yet til i take a look at it today. Its about a 30-45 min drive away so hopefully its beautiful and i can take it home. will be back later with the info!

I would jump for $600 mint chassis screw the motor. You really wont be able to do enough tests onsite to matter. Grab it, take it home and work from there. The only thing I would check is for obvious missing parts, rust, and chassis electrical working.

Sounds like either a great deal on a TII... or a good chance to make some money selling parts : ) Either way, you win! Does it have black interior by any chance??? hehe.
