Reverse Lights
I know this has been covered before but after trying everything, I still have nothing.
I replaced the reverse switch less than a year ago, the wires and connections all look good under the car. When I unplug both harnesses in the back and test the connection I'll get 12 volts but when I plug one in it drops to 0.5 volts. Even with a test lamp and them both unplugged I don't get a light. I get continuity on all the grounds on the light harnesses. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

So is it likely that the new switch went bad already?
Also I noticed on the new switch that both wires are red instead of red and black, does this make a difference when hooking it up or do the connections matter for the two bullet connectors
