The one on ebay is a rip off and not true reverse glow, but simply a white panel that the icons shine through when the parking/dash lights are on.

They claim that they provide an inverter and wiring, but the panel is not electroluminescent (so of course they do not send anything like that).

I ordered one off of them just to see myself if it was electro-luminscent like the ebay ad suggests, but it was not. I can email you a picture of the cheapness if you PM me.

Any idea where one might find a true EL panel for those controls (or have one made)? Preferably black background, not white...

I've been looking for RG black facveplate gauges for the fc for well over 18 months. The only place I found close was a local (heh thats right, local) company that fabricates EL panels as replacements for the templates you send them. They quoted me $250 for the gauge faceplates only... too hefty for me.

Maybe if we did a group thing, it would be cheaper-

But we all know how impossible it is to organize something like that on this'
here forum.

It would only be worse elsewhere... If we did a group thing and all had the same gauge set, at least they would only have to bother with one template per x orders. Might give a decent deal...
