reverse direction on oem fuel rails

on my s4 turbo II I noticed the back of the fuel rails (stock FPR side) are smaller (M12x1.25) than the front side (M14x1.5) but I'm wanting to mount my Aeromotive A1000 regulator on the drivers side of the engine -by the hoist loop- facing out. Can I feed the fuel rails from behind without major consequences?

ok sure thing, i know the direction of feed is normal for the primary rail but the secondary rail would be reversed

I don't see any problem with that setup.

now that you mention it i do believe i remember reading that somewhere along the line. that's great, thanks guys.

on an unrelated topic do you know if there is a copper washer for the oil pressure regulator on a s4 engine? I cant seem to find a washer that size in my parts bins and don't remember there being one to begin with. it would be a rather large washer i cant seem to find one on Atkins sight or anywhere..
