7 AMPS for two light bulbs?!? That's insanity.

What else is it powering back there?

But could you be a little more informative about this repair because I'm not understanding the relay thing. Maybe a step by step would be more appropriate..... and I do so love pictures
search under my name and reverse lights...i got pictures but they are very out of focus..but you can tell where the harness is...the wire (for me) was baried in the harness...it splits off into 3 doferent directions...2 go to the CPU and 1 goes toward the clutch and into the engine bay..search for it in the one that goes toward the engine bay..thats where i found mine...

The sensors on my NA transmission are totally shot - I installed the one at the top in the picture, and that's just fine - but I'm looking for the OTHER transmission sensor for the NA transmission - two wires and mounts on the driver's side - anyone have any ideas of a source, and part number?

Again, NOT the sensor on the top, but the OTHER sensor for the NA.

Thanks in advance!

I've got two part numbers from Mazda, listed as -

M502-17-640A - SWITCH,NETURAL

and

8130-17-640C - SWITCH

Any idea how to tell which one crosses to the Beck Arnley number 201-1660 above, so I can order the other one?

It looks like 17-630 is the one I need, I just thought I'd use my "Ask the Audience" lifeline before I made it my final answer. Can I get a couple of "Looks right to me" 's before I place the order?
