Rev limiter on auto?

So my car formerly known as automatic, won't make any power past 7500rpm. It just kinda cuts off. Was there a rev limiter or a fuel cut on the autos? I already disconnected my A/T computer and plugged the delay valve. Anything else that might limit this due to formerly being an auto?

theres a 8.5k fuel cut on almost all of the ECUs. It fuel cuts only the rear rotor IIRC...

actually it is losing spark, the stock ECU cannot keep up past 7600 RPMs as the spark becomes erratic. i doubt they mapped the fuel curve much after that anyhow, at least not a performance wise fuel map but just a flatlined generic map. go standalone if you want to run higher.

Reminds me, I don't believe they used a different ECU for the autos/5sds. And I agree, spark starts to get iffy past 7k...
