Rev Limiter?

No, there is no rev limiter, just an annoying buzzer. Oh, and there's usually a reason for redlines and rev limiters, for safety. But more importantly, because your powerband stops there.

Reving higher will not make you go faster, you need more airflow to do that, and the stock ports are designed for max airflow at around your peak HP. You can help the engine breathe better(ie better airflow) by removing backpressure and unrestricting your intake with a catback and a cone filter. Or you can port the engine. You can also adjust the timing of the spark ignition with a an EMS. Those are your options.

rs4 lotsa stuff, looser bearing clerances, screw locked rotor/statonar gear bearings, hardend statonary gears, side clearencing, up the oil pressure, something lighter than the stock seals, which would either be ceramic, or more realistically carbon seals, lighter rotors would help too. theres prolly more, but i cant think right now. Id improve the stock oil squirters too, and do the water jacket mod. o, and a port that would breathe their, which is either PP or a large bridge
