do you need the pd or can i just put the banjo bolt like you did or can you use a 89-91 fuel rail with 86-88 rx-7 right now i have 89-91 intake manifold with fuel rails but don't know if it will fit with the 86-88 intake one because i am thinking of putting my old intake back on and might use the bottom 89-91 rail

Also keep in mind the 89+ PD did also fail .. just not as frequent.

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
I have run mine for 9 months with this mod, no change in running. Why buy a fancy aluminum part when you can get the banjo bolt for little of nothing especially if you keep spare parts? Get a spare s4 NA fuel rail, primary, and use the other banjo bolt from it. IT works for NA adn t2 rails.

As far as all the people I have heard from that have done this .. there has been no ill effects. Mine is working fine, even with a Wabloro 255 Pump. But I will keep you all posted if I see ill effects.

Well, just did mine today. I used the banjo bolt off a extra fuel rail. First off let me say wow. What a difference. What I didn't know was my PD must have been restricting fuel. it didn't show signs of leaking just what'd to replace it while my car wasent well down lol, But after I did this I took the car out wow, more power the car sounded so much stronger. And temps, before on a day like today the coolant temp would have been around 180 just cruising up and down the hills here im WV after this mod, 160-165 water temps!!! Gougein on up hill got me to 172 tops!!!! with the PD in it must have been running lean. Hell I'd recommend this mod to anyone. Idle is great heck it might have been a little better than before. And runs great.
