what is a faster car? corrado? or scirocco? i need sites and or links to prove i am right.........wasnt the corrado heavier....and hah ba higher HP to weight ratio?

I think corrados were faster since some of them came supercharged. check vwvortex.com you should find some answers there.

 

Uh, you posting in the wrong forum.

The Corrado is faster, unless the Sciracco is majorly modified.&nbsp The Corrado was built as the successor to the Sciracco.&nbsp These things aren't very fast; they are pretty heavy for the size.&nbsp A stock G60 Corrado does low to mid 16's at the track (dunno about magazine times).&nbsp The newer VR6 Corrado goes about 1/2-second faster.

the Corrado G60 is a full second faster than the Scirocco, the Scirocco does a 16.6 1/4 run, and the Corrado pulls a 15.6, the corrado weighs 2800lbs, and the scirocco weighs in at 2500lbs

10:1 comp ratio and 2530lbs

Corrado G60 (Supercharged): 158HP@5600RPM
166TQ@4000RPM
8:1 comp ratio, 2835lbs
